Paper handling

Paper is handled throughout the print production process but the key areas for concern are those where productivity is compromised by bottlenecks or where there is the possibility of health and safety issues. Even rudimentary analysis of working practice at the guillotine supports the case for investment in paper handling systems on both counts; other areas might include pile turning in the pressroom and pallet moving and automated stack lifts in the bindery.
